Projection
The production and consumption of goods and services release greenhouse gases. Seven billion people worldwide consume varying amounts of the planet's resources. The United Nations predicts that by the year 2050, the world's population is expected to grow to 9.7 billion people and by 2100 it should exceed 11 billion.
As the population grows, emissions and depletion of the planet's resources. Increased greenhouse gas emissions have a direct impact on global warming. To combat global warming, we can all do our part by making green choices in our everyday lives. Plants use carbon dioxide in photosynthesis, which fuels their growth and the whose resulting product is oxygen - essential for life on Earth. The problem, however, arises when the amount of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere is more significant than its absorption by nature, or if nature does not 'keep up' with the excess amount of the CO2 in question. With this outdoor projection, I wanted to draw attention to plants that can filter toxins from the air - specifically, with the ficus used, 87% in 24 hours/200 m2. In this way, I tried to generate interest in plant cultivation as a form of support environment and eliminating the carbon footprint in the air. 11 billion people by 2100, according to the UN science. If every one of us, or every other, were such a plant, we would be helping nature, which is trying to help us. Because it has been with us from the beginning and will be after us.
The project was part of the concept of the Sustainably - Live Sustainably, in which I focused on increased production of products, plastics, waste, and transport between different
production steps... The ficus tree was photographed on a black background, which was then projected with a data projector on different locations in the streets where the ficus could, with its properties could contribute to improving air quality.
