EVENT: Construction - Deconstruction

As an Event, we understand a radical transformation in a relatively short time. Changing something to something else. The emergence of a new, by intervening in the permanent. From a geological point of view, for example, the movement of lithospheric plates. In my work, I tried to generatively visualize the topographic DEM data of Mars data derived from the Mars Orbiter Laser Altimeter (MOLA)
What will follow the detailed exploration of Mars?
Will it continue to be a transformational intervention by human existence?
The interactor temporarily has the power of a creator or destroyer, who with one hand movement can create a shaping event, a change of environment. From his point of view, the intervention may be negligible, minor, or perceived as insignificant, but from the point of view of the small ecosystem that exists on the other side, this event can have fatal consequences or create a new grouping. The idea of the project allows the viewer to perceive him in his way. There are many actions and stimuli around us, which from our point of view may mean a small step, but from another perspective, they can be a fundamental intervention and change. Nature tries to restore itself after the human intervention, but it never recovers to its original state. Like the human body, it leaves a scar after injury. The voxels, in which the project is generated, slowly return to their original state after interaction with the viewer, which should evoke slow regeneration. With mild and slow interactions, the voxels return to their original form after a while. As the speed of the hand moves, there is a more visible change in the environment and an inability to regenerate 100% due to overlap with the initial changes.
The project would work in the form of a public installation and capture the movements of the interaction through the Kinect. As a result of COVID-19 measures, the semester work was intended and processed for interaction via a web camera from home.
